Working With SDsol
How do I start a project?
Choose your channel— email, phone—or fill out a project brief
form. We’ll respond within 1–2 business days to schedule a call, discuss your goals
and provide an estimate.
Can you sign my NDA?
Yes. We’ll sign your NDA or use ours. Digital signatures
(e‑sign) and secure file transfers available.
Can you join my project mid-stream?
Yes! We can start fresh, join an ongoing project or take over
from another vendor. Our onboarding process ensures continuity and alignment with
your process.
Who will manage my project?
You’ll have a project or delivery manager and an account
manager. Technical leadership is always involved, either an in-house architect or
Tech Lead.
Technical & Delivery Process
What development methodology do you use?
Agile (Scrum/Kanban), Waterfall, hybrid—dependent on project
size, risk and client preference.
How do you estimate timelines & costs?
We break scope into defined tasks or user stories, then apply
estimation techniques (e.g., top-down, bottom-up, PERT) using past data, expert
insights and risk evaluation. Initial ballpark estimates take 1–3 days; detailed
proposals take 1–2 weeks.
How are changes or scope creep handled?
All change requests go through change management. We analyze
impact on time, cost and scope and seek formal client approval before
implementation.
What tools do you use for collaboration & reporting?
We use Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, Slack/MS Teams, Confluence
and share dashboards for clarity and transparency.
How is code quality and CI/CD handled?
We do code reviews, static analysis and unit/integration
testing. CI/CD pipelines are automated via GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins or
Azure DevOps with automated testing, deployments, environment provisioning,
monitoring and rollbacks.
Quality Assurance & Support
How do you ensure service quality?
Our Quality Management System includes KPIs throughout the
SDLC, regular audits, peer reviews and detailed testing standards to guarantee
reliability.
What kind of testing do you perform?
Functional, integration, performance, regression, security,
usability and user acceptance testing (UAT) with issue tracking through a ticketing
system.
Do you offer post-launch support?
Yes—every delivery includes a free warranty period (e.g., 1
month) for bug fixes. Ongoing support (L1–L3, infrastructure and enhancements) is
available via monthly subscription, adjustable based on your needs.
Is documentation and training included?
Yes. We provide comprehensive documentation, admin/user guides
and can conduct training sessions (live or recorded) with Q&A and feedback loops.
Security & Compliance
How do you secure data and assets?
We follow ISO 27001–aligned security practices:
- NDAs in place before work starts
- Network segmentation, secure access (VPN, MFA, RBAC)
- Clean-up and data erasure after project completion
What if a security incident occurs?
Our Security Operations process detects, isolates and
investigates incidents. We notify stakeholders promptly and support regulatory
reporting if needed.
Do you handle compliance?
Yes—HIPAA, GDPR, PCI DSS, SOC 2, ISO 27001, CCPA, NYDFS and
others. We include compliance checkpoints, impact assessments, secure environments,
audit logging and staff training.
Pricing & Engagements
What pricing models are available?
We offer:
- Time & Materials (T&M)
- Fixed Price
- T&M with a cap
- Monthly subscription or per-ticket models
Can I get a free estimate?
Yes—initial ballpark estimates are free within 24–72 hours.
Detailed proposals with cost breakdowns take 1–2 weeks.
How do you manage budgets and prevent overruns?
We use risk-based contingency planning, detailed variance
reporting and a strict change-control process. Our estimates include reserve
budgets—no hidden costs.
Transitions & Contingency Planning
Can you take over from another vendor?
Yes. We audit existing code, environments, documentation and
CI/CD workflows. We then transition in phases—starting with non-critical
systems—with full security and operational audits to ensure project continuity.
What contingency plans do you have?
We proactively identify risks (technical, operational,
business, external), allocate time/budget reserves and maintain agile flexibility
(sprint re-prioritization). Communication is transparent with regular risk reviews
and mitigation updates.
