Mouru
Mouru is a personal security alert application that seeks to create a community of users that are ready and willing to assist in the event of an emergency. The application serves as an emergency alert beacon for any user that may find themselves in an emergency situation.
Through the use of a “panic” button the user will quickly be able to notify family and friends through social media integrations as well as all nearby Mouru users. The application will then silently proceed to capture all relevant emergency details such as user’s initial location, video of the event, audio of the event, and location tracking updates.
Additionally, Mouru is able to report urgent situations to nearby users and include details of the event. This information will be stored in Mouru’s servers and may be used to provide detailed information to law enforcement and other relevant agencies.
Mouru will include the ability to trigger the panic sequence through a paired Bluetooth device, that a user will be able to wear on their wrist as a bracelet.
